SPECIAL MEETING OF DEVELOPMENT (ARTS) SUB-COMMITTEE
Members present

Apologies
Apologies for inability to attend were reported from the High Sheriff (Councillor Humphrey) and Councillors Cunningham, Hartley and P. Maskey.
Arts Council of Northern Ireland
Pursuant to the Sub-Committee’s decision of 7th June, the Members met with Mr. N. Livingstone, Ms. R. McDonough, Ms. L. McDowell and Ms. N. McKinney, representing the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, in order to discuss the undernoted issues of mutual interest:
- contact between the Council and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland at a strategic level;
- the Council’s Integrated Cultural Strategy;
- funding for the Arts;
- the potential for collaboration and information exchange; and
- the Re-imaging Communities Project.
The Chairman, on behalf of the Sub-Committee, thanked the representatives from the Arts Council for the information which they had provided.
The Sub-Committee noted that reports on these matters would be presented for its consideration as necessary during forthcoming meetings.when?
