SPECIAL MEETING OF DEVELOPMENT (ARTS) SUB-COMMITTEE
Members present: Councillor Kelly (Chairman); the High Sheriff (Councillor Humphrey); and Councillors Adamson, Cobain, Cunningham, Kirkpatrick, Lavery, Maginness and P. Maskey.

- Miss L. Hillick (Committee Administrator).

Apologies for inability to attend were reported from Councillors Hartley and Long.
Shankill Radio/Switch Ventures Project
The Sub-Committee considered a report which had been submitted by the Director of Legal Services in relation to the Shankill Radio/Switch Ventures Project. A copy of the report, with the exception of the appendices referred to therein, is set out hereunder.
The Director spoke to the report and after discussion, it was
Moved by Councillor Cobain, Seconded by Councillor Adamson,
That, having given due regard to the exceptional circumstances and merits of the application, the Sub-Committee agrees to provide funding in the sum of £12,038.28 on a one-off basis in connection with the Shankill Radio/Switch Venture Project.
Request for Recorded Vote
Moved by Councillor Kelly, Seconded by Councillor Maginness,
That the proposal standing in the name of Councillor Cobain be determined by means of a recorded vote.
On a vote by show of hands two Members voted in favour of determining the proposal by means of a recorded vote and four against and it was accordingly declared lost.
The Committee proceeded to vote by show of hands on the proposal standing in the name of Councillor Cobain, with six Members voting for and two against and it was accordingly declared carried.
