Supply of a Replacement Licensing System

The Head of Information Services reminded the Sub-Committee that, at its meeting on 25th August, it had agreed that tenders be sought for the supply of a replacement licensing system to be used within the Health and Environmental Services Department.

She informed the Sub-Committee that, in response to public advertisement, three tenders had been received and that these had been assessed using pre-agreed criteria. Accordingly, she recommended that the tender submitted by Northgate Information Solutions Limited, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, be accepted as it provided the best overall solution and offered the required functionality at the most cost effective price. She reported that the costs of acquiring and implementing the system offered by Northgate would be approximately £26,775 over a five-year period.

The Sub-Committee adopted the recommendation, subject to the completion of form of contract to be prepared by the Director of Legal Services.
